Oh my gosh! This salon is amazing Hands down! First I want to say to the manager thank you for everything! You are the coolest and sweetest and amazing! So professional and just awesome thank you for giving me the best experience of my life in all the years of going to salons over so many years this is the best salon! I see why it is the best. Truly thankful I met you. Thank you for making me Feel special after the stress of having to find a new salon after moving to San Diego it was a lot of stress. You are awesome and the best manager so professional and wonderful. To my colorist; Trisha, seriously the best colorist I have worked with!! I have gone to what it seems so many stylists even In Los Angeles where I used to live who never could do my color right but you are the best! Iv worked with so many people and I love Trisha! To my hair cut stylist: Melissa seriously you are the best! I have had horrible experiences from past stylists who messed my hair up and also stylists who messed my color up but Melissa is amazing! I was terrified trusting anyone with my hair but because of Melissa and Trisha I have no worries or fears! Thank you Truly to everyone I want to tell all my Friends to come here! Thank you everyone for being so kind and that goes to the other stylists in the salon everyone is talented and so awesome and everyone is so polite and welcoming and it is such a cool salon really beautiful also. I finally found the perfect salon for myself. Actually, it's been years but each time I go I'm thankful all over again. Professionalism, friendliness, brilliant and talented stylists, creativity, fun atmosphere, pampering...and more. Mallory and Trisha save my hair every time I get highlighted and cut. Trisha is a color wizard - drab dishwasher blonde hair becomes beautiful sun kissed blonde with depth and contrast. Sal can make fine straight hair look full and polished with a perfect bob. Jet Rhys is the best!

This place gets more magical by the minute! I went in today for a trim by Hair Magician Sal, as we were finishing my "laser cut" bob, it truly looked like a laser cut it... and I have curly hair.. ok back to the story, a very fascinating lady came by, introduced herself and we started talking about color, fun color! I just finished mentioning to Sal how I wanted to do something fun eventually, little did I know that "eventually" was now... well ... drum roll please... This fascinating person I just met was the Wizard herself, JET!! As soon as my brain caught up, I was in awww, we talked color, we had ... let me rephrase this, she had this amazing fun vision on how to add some rock and roll to my hair, and amp up the sassy in my life! And oh boy sassy I feel! Sal, your haircuts are simply divine, through the years we definitely had some fun, long, short, shaved, faux Mohawks , and today we put the cherry on top, with a color that does this haircut some serious justice! Jet, meeting you was an experience on its own, your energy is infectious! What an honor! Thank you to Sara, Amanda and Trisha for helping in the process. You guys made me feel AMAZING Thank you Team Jet Rhys!

I've been a patron for years, and every time I enter, I always leave feeling better than when I came in, even if I'm already in a great mood. This salon just brings happiness with their caring and encouraging conversation, aside from their terrific smiles and attitudes! Oh and of course Mallory is the best! Quinn is too! So is Trisha!

I have been going to Jet Rhys for years now, and Trisha is my go-to gal for amazing color! I have thick, course dark hair and am always asking for her to take it lighter. Trisha is so talented with color; she is somehow able to make my dark hair a beautiful caramel without the BRASS! I love walking out of the salon feeling sun kissed with the balayage she does. I don't trust anyone else to take these locks lighter! Trisha knows color and makes the hours fly by with her humor & wit! Love love love!

I had one bad experience in the past with having my hair dyed and have refused to get it done for years! It wasn't until I read all the reviews on senior colorist, Trisha, that I began to reconsider getting my hair colored. I have always wanted to get a more vibrant red in my hair, as my natural red has progressively faded over the years. Trisha was able to get me the exact color that I wanted and was also able to suggest stylists in Maryland (that's where I live) that would be able to help me maintain the color. I absolutely love my hair! I feel like a true red head again. Thank you so much, Trisha!!!!

Have literally been going to this salon for decades. Yes, it dates me, but it should also say how dedicated I am to their staff and service. I started in Hillcrest shortly after Jet & Rhys opened their doors, and even though I have moved multiple times (now in LA) I still return to their newer salon in S.B. because I can count on the quality of their work and it is always FUN to visit this crew. Trisha, Quinn, Sam...all of them have transformed my locks from damaged, dingy, disaster to gorgeous and glowing. Honestly, I don't know how they have patience with me...as I've had to go to other stylists while traveling or whatnot, and always have to return 'home' to get them to repair my 'hairs'. As with other reviewers, I have shared my good fortune at this salon with my family and now my mother, grandmother and even my father (props to Mai) attend regularly. Bless you JetRhys. xo.
