I have been going to this salon for over 16 years and they still are fresh. Jet and Rhys do a great job of mentoring and training their staff and keeping everyone up to date with the latest techniques and styles. Even when I'm overdue for a haircut, I still get compliments on my haircut and color.
Also, when you spend money and time at a salon, you want to feel like the experience is a treat. The stylists at Jet Rhys understand this and do everything they can to make you feel pampered. I continue to recommend them to friends and feel confident when I do so. I know they will be treated well.

Jet Rhys is a professional hair salon in a hip, clean setting conveniently located on Coast Highway in Solana Beach. My hair stylist for years, Mai, reliably expertly cuts my hair way better than I can ever imagine each visit. I entrust her professional judgement to maintain my locks or recommend change over time. Mai is the best, and I will not go elsewhere. I highly recommend Jet Rhys Salon and hair stylist Mai!

I love coming here! Mai is my girl! I've been coming here since 2014 and this is the only spot I get my haircut at. Everyone is so welcoming right when you walk in and literally get you in and out in the duration of your appointment time! They have you change into one of their gowns to cover your clothes from the hair/coloring and offer you water/coffee/tea before you start your appointment. I look forward to the hair washing. It's probably my favorite part, you have the TV, watching runways, or you can simply just close your eyes and relax. I highly recommend to give Jet Rhys a shot, I guarantee you will love this place!

I really love Jet Rhys! They are all so talented! I know I can trust my long black hair with anyone there. They wash and massage your hair and it comes out sooooo nice. I found them when I needed to maintain my hair for my wedding I was so pleased with my haircuts. No more split ends and i had a picture of what I wanted and it came out so nice! They are a bit pricey though and I consider it as an investment in yourself :) From the time you come in you're greeted and they ask you if you want a "drink" lol but each time I just get a water or politely decline. Great Salon!!!! :)

This salon is a lovely gem just north of La Jolla. The layout is very nice and comfortable. It doesn't get too loud like some salons can be and there is plenty of parking in the back. I've seen Christina a few times and she does a lovely cut that has always grown out beautifully until my next appointment. I love getting a cut from her and then stopping at The Monarch in Del Mar for a bowl of scallop (yep..scallop!) chowder on the way back to PB. There is something so nice about having lunch overlooking the ocean after getting a great cut!

It's been a rough couple of years for my hair. A couple of bad cuts, balayage gone wrong, color corrections, it's not been great. I was in serious need of a good hair cut to get all the bad vibes off. I searched around and came across the reviews for Jet Rhys. When I called to make an appointment, it was suggested I see Christina. Christina gave me the best cut I have had in over 2 years. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, she listened, then flawlessly gave me the cut I asked for. She framed the cut to my features and was meticulous in double checking her work. I was ecstatic she made me feel good about my hair again. I'll definitely be back to see her again. Thank you for the great cut!!
